Navy League 2011 Northwest Regional Conference: Working Together, Making a Difference
DEAR FELLOW COUNCIL MEMBERS,
Now is the time to register for the 201l Regional Conference! This will be a great opportunity to learn and share strategies for remaining a strong, viable Navy League group able to support and advocate for members of our Sea Services and their families.
Fortunately, we will be able to have our meetings and meals on Naval Kitsap Base in Bremerton. This means that pre-registration is a must, so that you will be able to get on base easily and we can make certain that everything is ready for you.
The two Friday tours also require pre-registration so that you can have base accces for the Naval Hospital Bremerton and Keyport Undersea Warfare Center in Keyport. Please download the flyers for the Keyport tour and the Naval Hospital Bremerton tour for details (Requires Adobe PDF)
On Saturday afternoon, arrangements have been made so that you can tour the USS Turner Joy, part of the Historic Ship Association, Puget Sound Naval Museum and/or The Kitsap County Historical Museum. These are all within walking distance of the Bremerton ferry and the host hotel. No reservations are needed to visit these wonderful sites. Walk down to the Lone Sailor Memorial for a great photo opportunity!
You will have an opportunity to hear a variety of speakers who will inspire, educate and entertain you, meet some of our local military heroes, some of our National Directors and members from other councils. You might also have a chance to learn more about the Olympic Peninsula! For more information on discussion topics, please download the program (Requires Adobe PDF)
Note, that you can sign up for a total package or for just a dinner or lunch program.
